We have an exciting opportunity for an articulate, highly organized and enthusiastic team player to join our team as a Warehouse Manager.
This position oversees The CPI Group distribution facility. The Warehouse Manager utilizes well developed leadership and organizational skills to drive compliance with policies, procedures and best practices to ensure that safety, productivity, efficiency goals are achieved. The Warehouse Manager functions as a mentor to associates encouraging progress along their development paths and partners with leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Reports to: Optimization Manager
Classification: Exempt
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and manage strategic plans for operational activity
Supervise and coordinate all warehouse operations teams
Monitor quality and performance metrics, drive improvement, motivate teams to meet performance goals
Manage warehouse safety, continuous improvement and inventory control projects
Develop strategies to improve cycle count performance, stock check accuracy, and the reduction of inventory adjustments
Ensure quality of products and services meet company and customer requirements
Provide excellent Customer service to both internal and external customers
Monitor training and compliance with OSHA Regulations, HAZMAT Regulations and Safety Best practices
Monitor training and compliance with company policies and procedures
Oversee maintenance programs for equipment and machinery
Function as the warehouse liaison for support services such as Senior Leadership, IT, Software Development, Accounting and Purchasing
Qualifications/Ideal candidate profile:
3 years or more experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager of a distribution facility or warehouse
High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
A history of effective leadership, conflict management and decision making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proven ability to multi task, prioritize and delegate tasks in a fast-paced distribution facility environment
High level of professionalism and attention to detail
High level of computer proficiency, and experience using documents and spreadsheets.
Ability to type 35 WPM
Experience with computer based inventory control systems
Experience with handheld inventory control tools in a highly controlled, barcoded warehouse environment
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Strong general mathematics skills
Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
Knowledge of project management principles and practices
Experience with OSHA and HAZMAT Regulations
Strong team player and the ability to work under pressure
Basic knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma tools
The candidate must be a highly-motivated team player with a can-do attitude
